Teaching Generation of Electricity Made Easy

FWEE member RB Manufacturing, inventors of the popular Power Wheel, have now come up with the Transparent Alternator Kit!

This device can be assembled in 20 minutes, providing students from 4th grade and up a hands-on introduction to explore generating electricity.

Essential concepts such as potential vs kinetic energy, conductivity and magnetic fields, circuits, and alternating current are easily explored and demonstrated. Initial assembly results in lighting an LED. For enterprising students introducing design modifications, enough electricity can be generated to charge a cell phone!
