Hydro School: Engaging the next generation in hydropower discussions

With funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office, Idaho National Laboratory (INL) researchers, some of whom are tribal members, set out to engage with students of the federally recognized Shoshone-Bannock Tribes to talk about hydropower. Click here to learn more.

INL staff were inspired by a presentation on the FWEE Hydropower STEM Career Academies given by Chelan PUD’s Bob Bauer at a HydroVision conference. Said Bob, “FWEE asks me to present at conferences with the idea that whether we provide or receive an idea that can be admired and acquired, that’s a win for the industry and the public we serve.”
