Lookout Point Dam is an earth and gravel-filled dam with concrete gated spillways. It was completed in 1954 at a cost of $88.2 million. In coordination with Hills Creek and Fall Creek dams, the three dams work together for the purposes of flood risk management, water quality improvement, irrigation, fish and wildlife habitat and recreation.
