Northwest Power Planning Council Created by Congress to give citizens a stronger voice in the electricity generated at, and fish and wildlife affected by, the Columbia River Basin hydropower dams.
Idaho Department of Fish and Game Responsibilities include establishing and enforcing regulations and other needed controls on fishing, hunting, trapping and management of nongame wildlife.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Their mission is to enhance the health of Montana’s natural environment and of fish, wildlife, cultural, and historic resources.
Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Their mission is to protect and enhance Oregon’s fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations.
Oregon Salmon Plan The goal of this plan is to conduct human business in Oregon in a manner that is compatible with sustaining productive soils, clean drinking water, recreation, cultural values and native salmon populations.

Public Power Council For 34 years, the Public Power Council (PPC) has represented the common interests of consumer-owned utilities in the Pacific Northwest.
StreamNet OnLine StreamNet provides data and data services in support of the Northwest’s Fish and Wildlife Program, and other efforts to manage and restore the region’s aquatic resources.

Federal Agencies: Northwest Hydro Resources
Bonneville Power Administration BPA wholesales federally generated electric power, the majority of which comes from hydropower, in the Northwest. Responsibilities also include development of conservation resources and improvement of fish and wildlife resources in the region.
Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region Their regional goal is to meet the increasing water demands of the Pacific Northwest while protecting the environment and the public’s investment.
Environmental Protection Agency, Region 10 This region seeks to protect and restore the environment of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska for present and future generations.
National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northwest Regional Office This regional office is organized to conserve, protect, and manage Pacific salmon, groundfish, halibut and marine mammals and their habitats under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and other laws.
US Army Corps of Engineers, Northwest Division The regional office provides oversight actions for the management, coordination and analysis of Division-wide programs.
US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District This office administers multipurpose projects that support navigation, flood control, shore protection, hydropower, water supply, and environmental protection.
US Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District This office administers multipurpose projects that support flood control, shore protection, hydropower, water supply, and environmental protection.

US Fish and Wildlife Service, Pacific Region This region is responsible for conserving, protecting and enhancing fish, wildlife and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the Pacific Region.
