Energy for Keeps is an introduction to how different energy sources generate electricity.  With particular emphasis on renewables, learn how hydropower, wind and other sources produce electricity; the history of using each source; environmental impacts; and advances in technology.

For 6th grades students through adults, 240 pages of friendly text, engaging illustrations, and helpful diagrams provide a thorough, balanced, up-to-date coverage of each renewable resource, correlated to National Science Standards.

These materials do not promote a particular view point. To assure accuracy, experts from industry, universities, government agencies and non-government organizations reviewed each chapter.
